Played on the Armley Schulze 32 stop edition (without extensions). I grew up with the Lewis organ at Cullercoats and playing the virtual Armley instrument, am so reminded of Cullercoats, as you cannot but be aware of the influence that Schulze had on Lewis, especially in his Great flue choruses. In this imperfect rendition of a much loved Howells' piece, the Great mixture didn't make the final cut as it was just too big, but I hope it will give a first taste of this magnificent instrument on Contrebombarde.
