Peter Elkjær Petersen (1957–2019) — Tre Sankt Markus-Præludier (1984–85) for organ

“Tre Sankt Markus-Præludier” (Three St. Mark Preludes) (1984–85) were commissioned by organist Helge Gramstrup for a concert at Sankt Markus Kirke in Aarhus, Denmark.

Peter Elkjær Petersen (1957–2019) was a Danish organist and composer. He was educated at the Fynske Conservatorium (Odense) and also studied with Jean Langlais. Petersen served as organist in various churches (including Sakskøbing Kirke, Tinglev Kirke, Hoptrup Kirke) and taught organ at the Folkekirkens Kirkemusikskoler.
