This lovely piece is intended to go with the hymn, "A Lamb goes uncomplaining forth".
This piece, inspired by the original text dealing with the Babylonian exile is sweet and poignant despite the fact that the work is solidly in G major.
For this performance, you hear the flutes 8 and 4 of the Brustwerk coupled to flutes 8 and 4 of the Hauptwerk.
I wanted a "thicker" sound, without having a "complicated" registration combination.
