Hymne du Normandie-Niemen

The hymn of the Squadron Normandie-Niemen was composed on the occasion of the death and in honour of Jean Sauvage ( 1917-2014 ) who was a very good fighter pilot within this squadron. Jean was also a cousin of my father with whom he was very close. The greatness of his exploits in the fight has an equal only in his kindness and humble simplicity.

L'hymne de l'Escadron Normandie-Niemen a été composé à l'occasion du décès et en l'honneur de Jean Sauvage (1917-2014) qui fut un grand pilote de guerre au sein de cet escadron.
