Description:
Pierre Camonin (1903-2003) was a pupil of Vierne and Dupré. He was the organist of Verdun cathedral from 1935 to his death (almost for 70 years !).
This is the first piece from his "Messe mariale". It mainly consists of a tuneful and somewhat nostalgic chant flying over a gentle flow of arpeggios.
