In fact, it seems to behave as if the digital Puck substracted 3 on the browse page.

Hi Patrick,

It seems that this phenomenon started at least three weeks ago. For example, I uploaded a piece in which the correct number of rec's was displayed initially. Suddenly, overnight 4 rec's vanished in the Browse tab (but not in the piece itself), and another piece displays 6 instead of 7 rec's. There were even uploads displaying -3 rec's though they are not of such a bad quality ;-)

I noted that the other day. I believe if you do back page the recommend isn’t registered. I found going to the members page and I’ll mention Angus Dei as I am subscribed to his page. I listen to the piece and thereafter click on the Angus Dei link. I don’t know if there are cookies on the site but some sites require you these days of GDPR to accept or else. If you don’t then the little bit of info registering your recommend might not work. Also clear our your cookies just in case. Hope this helps as it worked for me.

I have another problem, or maybe not: music with many prositive coments and 0 Rec, even if I play the same music on the same organ as a "collegua CCH uploader :)

OK not trying to blow my own trumpet here. I have just listened to a piece played by Agnus Dei called "Chanson d'Espoir (A Song of Hope)". in the page was just the one recommendation. I pressed recommend and exited via the uploaders name. I have gone back into same piece again and 2 recommends now show. its a shame I cant post the screen cap onto this reply. If anyone knows how to attach pics please let me know. thanks David

To stay within the logic, there would be only three causes possible IMHO:
- A bug in the forum code (phenomenon should still be reproducible)
- Rollback of an older database backup (which would have caused other stats to be reset as well)
- Some people just took back their recs ("-1" can happen only once per recommender)

My recommendation is to keep an eye on your stats and try to figure out whether the "-1"s keep coming in if you care about them. If you don't, everything's just fine as it is, lol... ^.^

P.S. If I may suggest another feature, it would be the "Recommendations" column to be added to the user's personal uploads page. ;)
