StOuenRouen

It has been a little over a year since the passing of one of our own.

Timothy Coriddi, who was better known as StOuenRouen, had been an active member of CHH for many years. We want to thank Joe for informing us of this sad news. We felt it only right to share this to others in our community.

Thanks for your message. Good action in many ways. Good for remembrance but also for announcement and notification to avoid emptional problems. On facebook I once saw a "happy birthdays notification of a friend who passed away almost a year earlier. People who didn't know this, replied with wishing happy birthday. Must be "not nice" for the relatives.

Regards, Fred

I am really very sad to hear the news, CBadmin. I see Tim was only 24 when he passed away.

What a loss to his family, this community, and indeed the world. His music was excellent.

I have a favourite hymn which reflects on death. Maybe I'll record that with instructions how to upload it when the time comes.

On a more positive note, there was a CH member who had last posted in 2010, and I thought his performances were brilliant. I wondered if he had passed away, but when I messaged him, he replied (very much alive) and has uploaded again after 7 years of silence. I did wonder how we would know if someone passed away. The Forum gives us the ability to make such an announcement.

Plus, let's not forget about another great contributor of the past years on CCH, Leo Christopherson (a.k.a. CHRIS_037 / leo037chris). His numerous MIDI transcriptions for Hauptwerk have been a remarkable milestone in HW development --- and still are today.

This one is just a small fraction of his achievements and contributions:

I really do miss him.
