Really out of Date

Updates are badly needed in the profile section.

1. macOS stops with Yosemite. That's the "dark ages" of macOS. Needs to be updated to include releases u p to and including Catalina (10.15)

2. Most surprisingly, Hauptwerk V is not a election item either. Time to get it up to date ...

RE: Really out of Date

About two weeks ago I sent an email about HW5 and AVO's Skinner Organ from Redeemer Church of New Haven. No response yet. I just added the organ to 'Organs' 'Library' - maybe that automatically adds it to the drop down in our profile?

It would be a good idea to specify exactly which profiles you are talking about. I have looked at all the obvious menus on the contrebombarde site and cannot find any profiles apart from those in My Account which are provided by individual users.

That's the only "profile" there is … don't know how to be any more specific than the two items I mentioned in my initial post.

The point is that neither the Operating System entry nor the HW version entry in the profile allow typing an entry that isn't already in the dropdown. And current macOS versions and HW versions cannot currently be entered.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes I agree that some updates are needed. Who is in charge of this forum? How do we communicate with them? Hopefully somebody in charge will read these postings!!

Hello Grant_Youngman,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately the abrupt launch of HW V was at the same time the office closed down for the holidays. We have just gotten back and are now working on the next CCH updates this week.

Thanks. I figured the Holidays were in the way. Knew you'd get a Round To-It at some point :-). Certainly not a major issue .. just something I noticed while trying to update my configuration.

This one's for you, Raymond Garcia, if you're still following this thread:

I noticed that you 'slipped in' a rather strange organ builder's name in the St Martini Groningen organ Sampleset description on the CB organ listing & description page, one "Skinner (E.M.)"

No idea where that came from - not mentioned anywhere in the entire history of this Sonus Paradisi sampleset!

It's an Arp Schnitger Organ. From the Sonus Paradisi organ description: "Schnitger's work is so profound that it is justifiable to say the organ of the Martini church is a Schnitger organ".

Hi Jack,

Thank you for letting me know. That was an error on our part. We were adding a good number of sample sets at that time and I most likely got the builder confused with another sample set.

I'll have it updated asap.
