Does OrganArtMedia no longer sell products?

Hi all,

Apologies for the rather blunt question.

The website of OrganArtMedia is "spotless", fully informative and highly attractive.

But - more than a week ago I once again visited the website (as I often have - their large collection of samplesets look and sound fabulous!).

However, trawling around the entire website I can not see a "shopping cart", nor could I discover ANY buttons or hyperlinks for "Order This Organ" or anything of this nature.

There are lots of "resellers" listed. But because I live in Australia, purchasing from ANY of the resellers is "buying from the other side of the world", just as it would be if I would buy directly from OrganArtMedia.

Using their "Contact Form page" I sent a message with just that question (Does OrganArtMedia sells its own products to the public?), but the there has been NO ANSWER at all to my query.

Does OrganArtMedia not sell its products?

If you acquired any OrganArtMedia organs, how did you buy them?

Yes, as of the end of November, they sell only through resellers. Here is the relevant paragraph from a November 20, 2019 forum post:

"Please note, that OAM now only distributes by the officially resellers shown on the OAM order site. This allows me to spent more time on set development and re-processing former sets (e.g.surround extensions etc.) and the distributors a little more revenue for their increasing service tasks."

Thanks very much, CarsonCooman -

I really regret that development. I've just trawled through the various resellers' websites, and most of them have just one or two OrganArtMedia samplesets listed for sale.

I had a keen eye on one or two sets I'd like to eventually acquire - but it will be tough from here on!

I only know one of the resellers personally, but any of them are able to order and offer any OAM sample set. So it does not matter what they may have listed on a website. If you write to them, they can get any of them for you.

In the 'Organs' tab at the top of CB you can search in the 'Library' for any company name or other item you want to find and it gives you the link to their website. OAM has the names of their representatives at this link - https://www.organartmedia.com/en/orders

Thanks very much, François!

I believe you are one and the same as the person recommended for "HW installation problems" to me by David Lamb, who gave me your contact details. On that issue I may soon contact you - however, on that previous occasion I eventually resolved my PC and installation issues myself. I've just purchased the Presonus Studio 1810C - and I'm trying to make it and my PC and the drivers listen to "my commands and demands". Check my CB User page for details and pics.

On the issue of OAM resellers, I've now tried to establish contact with about 7 resellers. Many of them have simply not replied - but a Dutch outfit "Noorlander organs" has excelled: they have all OAM samplesets integrated on their website:

https://www.hauptwerkshop.com/software/hauptwerk-samplesets/organ-art-media/

I've made no commitments to purchase as yet, but the issue of "to upgrade or to not upgrade" is a LIVE issue for me!

RE: Does OrganArtMedia no longer sell products?

Good morning Jack,

I don't have a webshop on my website because I prefer to establish a direct contact with my clients, discuss his needs and provide recommendations. Also as an additional service, when someone buys a sample set from me, I take care of the download on the client PC, install the sample set, have his dongle activated and set the parameters for the first load... without extra cost for any sample set costing more than $300USD (more or less ;-) ).

I'm an authorized reseller from most sample sets creators, so don't hesitate to contact me if needed... sample sets sales, remote tech support and any components related to Hauptwerk.

Regards
François
